Hennywiz: First off, it’s a pleasure to have you here at the Wiz’s Daily dose, Da’livia..
Da’livia: The pleasures all mine, thank you for having me.
Hennywiz: I must say these past couples of months has been good for you, first Blackmen magazine July 2010 and now Gorgeous magazine; congrats!
Da’livia: Thank you so much, the quote I go by to accomplish my goals is, “Remember all things are possible for those who believe”.
Hennywiz: How was your experience working on the photoshoots for these magazines?
Da’livia: I must say both of the photo shoots had different vibes and energy but they both was a great success and I can definitely work with both of the photographers again
Hennywiz: For the people that might not know yet rundown some of the other publications you’ve been in?
Da’livia: Cover Model:Krushin Magazine (march 2010), Titanium Magazine (April-may 2010), , Straight Stuntin Magazine (November 2010) and King Magazine (December 2010)
Hennywiz: Where are you originally from and what is your ethnic background?
Da’livia: Born in Fair fax Virginia and raised in Springdale Maryland. I am half African American and half Native American.
Hennywiz: What are your measurements?
Hennywiz: What or who inspired you to begin a modeling career?
Da’livia: Honestly, after winning top 10 for Miss Teen Pageant of Washington DC, I loved all of the attention I received from winning and wanted to try different things in the modeling industry. In addition, my idol Tyra Banks
Hennywiz: Who are some of the photographers you’ve worked with to help create the amazing photos of you?
Da’livia: Derrick Clegg, Charles Gardner, Lester Spring
Hennywiz: With all the shoots you’ve done, which ones have been your most memorable so far?
Da’livia: Earlier this year I went to North Carolina to shoot with Derrick Clegg. We started shooting at 7am and literally ended around 7pm. We drove all over the place for different scenes. It was amazing and with his personality it even better.
Hennywiz: Has being in the modeling industry affected your personal life?
Da’livia: Yes, it has affected my relationships mainly because of the traveling, no spending time with them and so called not giving them attention. In addition, they were insecure and controlling and didn’t like the whole world seeing my body etc.
Hennywiz: Overall, what has been your opinion of the modeling industry?
Da’livia: Wow!!! There’s a lot I can say but I’ll just say one thing to sum it up, there are a lot of women that have the body for this industry but not the face, attitude, personality and drive for it. Most lay around, be lazy and let their manager do all the work; not me I work hard for what I do best!!!
Hennywiz: Do you host a lot of events, do you travel often?
Da’livia: I travel maybe three times a month depending on assignments and I’ve hosted maybe about 4 events.
Hennywiz: In this forever evolving business, new faces emerge by the minute. What separates Dalivia from your peers?
Da’livia: It first starts off with my name Dalivia; it’s different, unique and creative which basically describes me. Secondly, I am determined and always give something extra.
Hennywiz: Are you bound for the big screen? Is acting in your plans?
Da’livia: When I first started modeling I was little timid of talking in front of camera but over the past few months I realized the camera is my best friend. It’s no getting out of it so yes I’m ready. Light, camera, action.
Hennywiz: What would be a dream role for you?
Da’livia: A dream role for me is to play a similar part to Sanaa Lathan in “Love in basketball”. That movie is similar to my life now so it would be easy to play that part.
Hennywiz: Have you been featured in any music videos as of yet?
Da’livia: Yes, I’ve been in 3 world wide music videos and 1 local video in my area.
Hennywiz: What are some of your long term goals as you continue to progress in your career?
Da’livia: One of my long term goals is to become a commercial model for lotion companies such as Olay and makeup companies such as Mac or Sephora.
Da’livia: Acting, dance, and owning my own modeling agency.
Hennywiz: What are some of your hobbies?
Da’livia: Dance, reading and sometimes I play a good game of volley ball.
Hennywiz: Let get in your business now, lol!! Do you have a significant other? If so, how does he or she feel about you modeling?
Da’livia: Yes I do and he’s very supportive of me and always is with me through everything.
Hennywiz: I want to assume your preference is men or is there an interest in women as well?
Da’livia: No, I’m all for men.
Hennywiz: What qualities do you look for when choosing a mate?
Da’livia: Must have a great personality, sense of humor, spontaneous and ready to do new things. I get bored real fast so they have to be open-minded.
Hennywiz: What advice do you have for someone that would like to approach you in public?
Da’livia: I’m real big about respect so when approaching me come with it and never touch me lol
Hennywiz: What are some of the worst pick up lines you ever been hit with?
Da’livia: Girl, you looking so good, I would drink your bath water. Hennywiz: C’mon son, eww!!
Hennywiz: What turns you on the most?
Da’livia: An intelligent, passionate, affectionate man who has his own.
Hennywiz: What is an ultimate turn off for you?
Da’livia: A worthless, unlearned, selfish, controlling man who has nothing going for himself.
Da’livia: You get the best of both worlds with me.
Hennywiz: What is your ultimate sexual fantasy?
Da’livia: I want to one day do it in front of an audience and not even care who’s looking. Hennywiz: Get your popcorn and cameras ya’ll, lol!!
Hennywiz: What parts of your body are you most complimented on the most and what are your favorite assets on you?
Da’livia: Most complimented is my eyes, lips, legs, and breast. My favorite is my eyes, back line and legs.
Hennywiz: Give a description of a normal evening at home with you.
Da’livia: Dinner, movie, and laughs.
Hennywiz: Do you have any tattoos? If so where?
Da’livia: Yes I have four and there all hidden with the exception of the one on my foot. I have another one on my lower hip, back of my neck and on my side next to my left breast.

Da’livia: All except country. I love hip hop, jazz, r & b, pop, techno and opera.
Hennywiz: What’s your mood music during a photoshoot?
Da’livia: Depends on the type of photoshoot and my mood that day. If it’s sexy, something slow. If it’s urban and edgy, I like pop and techno.
Hennywiz: Drink of choice to get you going?
Hennywiz: What can we expect from you in the near future?
Da’livia: Always expect something creative, bold, sexy, classy and different to keep you all on your toes like, “what’s next?”
Hennywiz: Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
Da’livia: In the next 5 years I see myself in at least 25 magazines, websites, on TV in beauty commercials, and movies. I see myself having my own business in fashion and modeling agencies.
Hennywiz: What advice do you have for inspiring models out there trying to break into the industry?
Da’livia: Never, ever let anyone tell you, “You can’t or will never”. Be positive, have faith in God and believe in yourself. Never give up; period.
Hennywiz: I really appreciate you taking the time to grant me this interview. Anything you want to say to your fans out there?
Da’livia: I would first like to thank you for taking the time to interviewing me and I would like to thank my family, fan, supporters and friends for believing in me. Thanks for the love and support, it’s much appreciated and remember no matter what happens, I will always be myself, never change for money and fame.
