Spotlight Edition: Adour Me "Ride or Die Chick"

Introduction:
It took awhile but we were finally able to land an exclusive interview with the one and only Adour. Striking, Gorgeous and very determined to succeed in this business. Adour is definitely one to Watchout for in 2010 and 2011. Does she have what it takes I'll let you decide..

Interview:
Hennywiz:  First off, Welcome to the Wiz’s Daily dose..
Adourme: Thank you so much for having me *giggles*
Hennywiz:  Where are you from originally? What’s your ethnic background?
Adourme: I am a New York Native. Born and raised in Harlem however, I've been back and forth between Washington DC and NY for almost 10 years. My mother is of Jamaican decent and my father is Moroccan so, to better answer your question I am African American
Hennywiz:  Tell the readers what your measurements are?
Adourme: 34/26/39
Hennywiz:  What or who inspired you to begin a modeling career?
Adourme: I've always enjoyed the industry and as a young child spent a lot of time behind the scenes but I am more so focused on acting. More recently, my hair stylist asked me to do a shoot for a hair publication and I didn't really know how I felt about getting back in front of the camera. I did the shoot anyway and had a blast and have been shooting ever since.
Hennywiz:  Congrats on being featured in the premiere print issue of Gorgeous Magazine, how was your experience working on the shoot?
Adourme: Thank you! Working with Lloyd Parks, Mighty and 43Studios was an amazing experience for me. I had a great time and I'm honored to be featured on 6 pages of their premiere print issue.
Hennywiz:  Have you been featured in any other publications as of yet?
Adourme: Yup, I am on the cover of an issue FBM Magazine and have been in several different hair magazines including Black Sophisticates.
Hennywiz:  You’ve taken some amazing photos and the creativity behind them was bad ass. Is there a particular photographer you prefer to work with?
Adourme: Yeah, the ones that give me my pictures like they say they will in the business agreement...Ooops did I say that *giggles* *giggles* and more *giggles* All jokes aside, I have enjoyed working with Lloyd Parks in NY, Derrick Clegg in NC and my go to guy here in DC that I love is Donato Sebastian! The creative energy with all three photographers is amazing and I'm always overwhelmed with joy when I see the final product. There are many other photographers I can’t wait to work with in the future but as of today those are my favorite.
Hennywiz:  With all the shoots you’ve done so far, which ones have been your most memorable?
Adourme: My most memorable shoot.....? Hmmmmm..Because I am extremely indecisive I would have to name two! The first shoot that comes to mind is when I shot with Henry Adebonojo from NY. We just had this crazy, random idea for me to get up on a shelf in the closet and we kept coming up with all types of off the wall ideas and every shot came out amazing! The next shoot that comes to mind is my sexy roller skating girl picture that I shot with Donato Sebastian. It was soooo much fun, although extremely challenging to stay still on skates, we just laughed and had a great time. I love doing out of the box things and challenging my limitations so both shoots were extremely memorable.
Hennywiz:  Has pursuing a modeling career affected your personal life?
Adourme: Yes it has. Initially I didn't realize how important it is to truly have a supportive foundation and most importantly a secure man.
Hennywiz:  Overall, what has been your opinion of the modeling industry as you continue to progress?
Adourme: To me the industry is full of possibility. With every corner I turn lies endless possibilities for growth, creativity and new challenges. I've met some amazingly interesting people from all walks of life and have had some great experiences so, I embrace the industry and all it has to offer.
Hennywiz:  What are some of your long term goals as you continue to progress in your career?
Adourme: For my long term goal, I intend on landing more acting gigs. I'd really like to be on a network series, those are my favorite types of acting roles.
Hennywiz:  What has been some of the highlights of your career?
Adourme: The biggest highlight for me has been the short film I co-starred in called Drug Related 2. It was my first speaking role in a film and working on an actual movie set. The cast and crew was extremely talented and sooooo much fun to work with. I learned so much from that experience.
Hennywiz:  One question I tend to ask models and vixens in the business is, in this forever evolving business, new models emerge on a daily basis. What separates “Adour” from your peers?
Adourme: I am extremely versatile and open minded in life so that tends to translate through my modeling. There is no 1 particular style of modeling that defines my boundaries and because I focus a lot on the acting side of my career I enjoy new roles and characters in front of the camera.
Hennywiz:  What other interest do you have besides modeling?
Adourme: Acting is my true passion but I am also very much interested in learning more about behind the scenes, videography, editing even screen play writing. I am so intrigued by the entire process of creating a film and portraying your thoughts on a screen, I love it!
Hennywiz:  What are some of your hobbies?
Adourme: YAYY! Im glad you ask that because it feels like people never do. I am huge graffiti kid LOL. In my free time I love to create new pieces and really let my mind go with a marker and a pad. I'm also a bit of a foodie so I've kind of made a hobby out of trying new restaurants and learning all the different types of cuisine and chefs right here in DC. Graffiti and Good Food = My Hobbies LOL!!
Hennywiz:  You’ve mention earlier that acting is in your plans; what would be a dream role for you?
Adourme: I would love to play the role of a bad girl, like the sexy trophy wife or the bad guys girlfriend!! Hehehehehe I would love it! Or something completely comical where I can channel my goofy side!
Hennywiz:  Let’s get personal, is there a significant other in your life?
Adourme: *Giggles* No one in my personal life is insignificant... hehehehe there may be someone I like more than others.... but that's a secret.
Hennywiz:  What qualities do you look for when choosing a significant other?
Adourme: You have to be sexy, down to earth, and a goof ball like me. We have to have a balance where I can be a sexy princess but still crack a joke and play a video game!
Hennywiz:  I want to assume your preference is men or is it women as well?
Adourme: Hahaha Lies!! You, like most men want to assume my preference is "women as well" Hahahahahahaha! I'll say this, I have no defined preference. I follow my heart and am attracted to sexy, smart, fun people. Man or Woman, I'm more interested in if you can keep me entertained.
Hennywiz:  What advice do you have for someone that would like to approach you in public?
Adourme: Be yourself but be mindful, if I'm in a conversation or look like I'm rushing somewhere understand that it might not be the best time.
Hennywiz:  What are some of the worst pick up lines you ever been hit with?
Adourme: Honestly, I can’t even think of the ones that really got good laughs outta me but I do remember this one "Help the homeless, take me home with you".... I literally replied with "eewww, that sucked!"
Hennywiz:  What turns you on the most?
Adourme: When I can look in your eyes and know not only do you think I'm sexy but, I've turned you on, either physically or mentally.
Hennywiz:  What is an ultimate turn off for you?
Adourme: Bad teeth, Bad smell and even worse a bad personality!! I can't stand when a person is so disconnected from reality they come across as arrogant and superficial!! DEAL BREAKER!
Hennywiz:  Do you consider yourself a casual romantic or super freak?
Adourme: A little bit of both. I think every woman should be able to stay connected with the freak in them. Of course I love to be romanced but I am also a Scorpio, so I have a very intense, passionate side that I enjoy exploring...
Hennywiz:  What is your ultimate sexual fantasy?
Adourme: I live my fantasies so I can’t really say I have one.. I am very free spirited so when things come to me I just do whatever I want. I am a pleaser though so I have the most fun helping others experience their own fantasies.
Hennywiz:  What part of your body are you most complimented on? What are your favorite assets on you?
Adourme: My eyes and my booty get the most compliments!! I love them both!!
Hennywiz:  Give a description of a normal evening at home with you.
Adourme: Depends on my company.... hehehehehe
Hennywiz:  Do you have any tattoos? If so where?
Adourme: I have 7 tattoos, 3 on my arms, 1 on my back, 2 on my chest and 1 behind my ear.
Hennywiz:  Do you have a special hidden talent? If so what is it?
Adourme: It’s a secret that's why its hidden. *giggles*
Hennywiz:  What is one thing about yourself that tends to shock people once they get to know you?
Adourme: People are always shocked when they realize how big of a sports fan I am and that I play video games. I grew up on sports and video games so that is always a shocker for people and also when they figure out my sense of humor. People are always amazed but what keeps me laughing!!
Hennywiz:  How would describe your fashion style?

Adourme: Different, Edgy, Sexy and Ever Changing. I literally dress how I feel, if I feel girly and sexy I dress girly and sexy. If I feel like sweats and sneakers I wear sweats and sneakers. But, I always just wear what I like I’m not big on following trends etc..
Hennywiz:  What genre of music are you in to?

Adourme: I couldn't live with out music!! I say that to say, I like all genres of music with the exception of country (not my thing) But I like all music, there is nothing you could play for me that I wouldn't listen to.

Hennywiz:  What’s your mood music during a photo shoot?

Adourme: During a photo shoot I like to listen to music that is loud and upbeat. Anything that could be played in a nightclub works great at one of my shoots!

Hennywiz:  Drink of choice to get you going?

Adourme: The first Patron Shot usually gets me moving in the right direction LOL I tend to drink a lot of Grey Goose and Red Bull

Hennywiz:  What can we expect from you in the near future?
Adourme: My website will be up and running really soon and you can look to see me in a lot more acting roles. As for modeling you'll see a lot more of me on the beauty and hair side.
Hennywiz:  What advice do you have for inspiring models out there trying to break into the industry?
Adourme: Follow your heart, live your life to the fullest and never be blinded by the lights...!!
Hennywiz:  I really appreciate you taking the time to grant me this interview. Anything you want to say to your fans out there?
